Developer Submits Proposal For Multi-Level Restaurant In Mystic

A developer is seeking to build a two-story restaurant with a rooftop deck.

MYSTIC, CT — A Waterford developer is seeking permission from the Stonington Planning and Zoning Commission to construct a two-level restaurant with a rooftop deck on the site of the former Broadway Auto gas station, The Day reported. G Development LLC purchased the property at 32 Broadway for $375,000 last year.

The plans call for a parking area, two-story restaurant, and rooftop deck. The restaurant would have 109 seats, according to The Day.

Plans for restaurants and other developments have met resistance from neighbors due to concerns about parking and traffic.
