Monday: The 2014 POCD Subcommittee meets at 7 p.m. in the Police Station.

Tuesday: The Housing Authority meets at 4 p.m. in the Edythe K. Richmond community room on Sisk Drive in Pawcatuck; K-12 Bldg. Committee (Special Meeting) at 4:30 p.m. in the School Admin Central Office on North Stonington Road; Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 7 p.m. in the Police Station; the K-12 Bldg. Committee  at 7 p.m. is cancelled.

Monday: Drop by the Stonington Free Library's Children's Room at 3 p.m. today and enjoy a free early childhood music and movement program ideal for caregivers/parents and their children, provided by the Calvary Music Together program! Ages Babies-5.

Tuesday: The Mystic & Noank Library is presenting a series of discussions on different topics relating to divorce from the woman’s perspective and tonight’s discussion is about navigating parenthood after divorce. Wednesday: The Westerly Public Library will host the Pawcatuck Valley Coin Club tonight at 6:30. Have you ever wanted to buy gold or silver but know how to go about it? This is your chance to learn. The members of the Coin Club will be giving a free introductory seminar on how to buy precious metal for physical possession.

Thursday: Sign up for a seat to hear an inspirational speaker Eileen Kaplan, author of “Laughter is the Breast Medicine” at The Pink Mermaid at 1 p.m. today. She has spoken with humor and heart on making the lifestyle changes necessary for coping with cancer. Her speeches are always upbeat and enlightening about her personal journey as a "Survivor Thriver". Register by calling 860-865-0825.

Friday: Take a short trip to Clinton and see the U.S. Coast Guard Band perform tonight at 7:30. Sponsored by Clinton Chamber of Commerce.
