External Report Clears Stonington PD Of Wrongdoing In Quality Inn Assault Response

In the interest of transparency, we wanted to share the completed external review regarding the circumstances surrounding the Stonington Police response and subsequent press release regarding the incident that occurred at the Quality Inn on June 26, 2020.

The decision in early July to conduct an external review was made in order to ensure that the community retains the confidence in our officers that they need in order to carry out the important work they do every day.
