Giving Tree Offers Way To Spread Holiday Cheer At Mystic Aquarium

MYSTIC, CT — This holiday season, the Mystic Aquarium is offering a way to give back to the animals that delight guests every day. Next time you visit the aquarium, stop by the "Giving Tree" in the Main Gallery and choose an ornament.

Each ornament offers guests advice on how they can donate an "enrichment item" to the animal of their choice. (To sign up for Stonington/Mystic breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

According to the aquarium's website, enrichment items "instill interest and variety" in the animals' daily routines. These include items such as balls, mirrors, food puzzles and fire hoses.
