Healthy Baby Boy Born During Blizzard in North Stonington

A North Stonington mother gave birth to her new baby boy, despite a blizzard and her husband being away at sea.

NORTH STONINGTON, CT - Though Tuesday brought heavy amounts of snow to Connecticut, one North Stonington couple welcomed the arrival of something much more special that day.

Lisa Hardee gave birth to her new son, Harrison Everett Hardee, amid rapidly falling snow Tuesday morning at Backus Hospital, according to media reports.

The situation was made extra stressful for Ms. Hardee as her husband, Jack, is currently deployed in the Navy, according to NBC Connecticut. Luckily, hospital staff was able to rally together and accommodate all of the expectant mother’s needs.
