Honoring 345 Years Of Service
The annual dinner for the lifetime members of this volunteer fire company included seven members who have belonged for 35 years or more.
At the annual dinner honoring the Steamers Engine Co.'s lifetime members Thursday night at Water Street Cafe, Patch stopped by to take a photo of more than three centuries of service to the Borough.
Member Ed Northup was celebrating the actual anniversary of the day he joined the fire company - 64 years ago.
Hats off and a huge thank you to Larry Pont (35 years), Ron Alfonso (60 years), Ed Northup (64 years), Bill Texeira (52 years), Sandy Grimes (41 years), John Gomes (38 years), and Charlie Chiappone (55 years).
