How Many Stonington Residents Received Coronavirus Vaccine?
State health officials released data for the first time which shows how many residents in each town have been vaccinated for COVID-19.
STONINGTON, CT — According to the state Department of Public Health, a total of 1,906 Stonington residents have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
There are 18,559 Stonington residents and 10 percent of them have received their first dose. Stonington has 1,933 residents over the age of 75 and 1,020 of them have received their first dose or 53 percent, according to state health officials.
Since the pandemic began in March, Stonington has reported 834 cases and 26 deaths.
