It’s your last chance to register for Groton’s Eighth Annual Fall Festival, scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2013. The official deadline for Festival participants to register is Friday, September 27. This is a special community event created and hosted by the Groton Business Association (GBA) of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce.
Groton’s Eighth Annual Fall Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is a rain or shine event.

You can obtain full information on how to register for a booth by going to the GBA web site at grotonbiz.com or calling the Chamber at (860) 572-9578.
For businesses, this is an opportunity to connect with your current customers and attract new ones. For artists and crafters, it gives you access to thousands of new customers. For non-profit organizations, it is an opportunity to promote your message to thousands in person.

The festival will offer a variety of entertainment. Featured will be children’s entertainer Steve Elci and Friends, guitarist Lou Manzi, April’s Balloons and Simply Enchanted.
The Life Star Helicopter will occupy the center ring and welcome visitors. Groton’s Fire Departments will celebrate Fire Prevention Week 2013 with special displays, exhibits, and vehicles.Â
The Festival site at Poquonnock Plains Park will feature artists and crafters, displaying their skill and wares for display and purchase. Local businesses and organizations will have exhibits.  Food vendors will offer a variety of food and drinks.
