Mystic Carol Sing Taking Place Today
Get in the holiday spirit and sing at the 70th annual Community Carol Sing in Mystic today.

MYSTIC, CT - Get in the holiday spirit and lift your voice in song at the 70th annual Mystic Community Carol Sing on Sunday, Dec. 17. This popular holiday carol sing will be led by Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies at the University of Connecticut Jamie Spillane.
Spillane will be backed by the Mystic Seaport museum carolers and a brass quartet, according to a release. The carolers will perform a holiday concert in the Greenmanville Church at 2 p.m., and the carol sing will take place at McGraw Quadrangle at 3 p.m.
Guests are also invited to explore exhibits the museum’s 19th-century seafaring village decorated for the holidays, and to climb aboard historic vessels and discover the winter sky under the Treworgy Planetarium dome.

The planetarium’s program, “The Star of Bethlehem,” explores the winter skies, merging science, mythology, religious observance, winter traditions, and music. A holiday craft workshop will also be hosted in the Howell Classroom (lower level of Planetarium) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
