New Restaurant, Bakery Opens In Mystic
Nana's Bakery & Pizza recently opened in Mystic.
MYSTIC, CT — Nana's Bakery & Pizza opened Oct. 30, a primarily takeout place with eight seats at 32 Williams Ave., according to The Day. The owners described the move as an idea intended to sell their organic sourdough bread.
The opening of the restaurant expands the 85th Day Food Community, joining the Oyster Club, Engine Room, and Grass & Bone, according to The Day.
On their website, the 85th Day Food Community describes itself: "We are a Mystic, Connecticut based restaurant group and catering company focused on building and supporting our regional food community.

Nana's Bakery & Pizza's offerings include sourdough doughnuts, sourdough bagels, and sourdough country boule, as well as other baked goods, sandwiches, and to-go pizzas.
