Nice Weather Forecast, There's a Pasta Dinner and a Free Car Seat Check Today

Today is forecast to be sunny, with a high near 77 (Yay!) according to the National Weather Service and tonight is supposed to be mostly clear, with a low around 61.
The Comm. on Aging meets at 4 p.m. in the Human Services Building; the 2014 POCD Subcommittee (Special Meeting) meets at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall meeting room; the Board of Finance meets at 7 p.m. at the Police Department.
Wednesday: Pawcatuck Lions Club Pasta Supper from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Harley P. Chase VFW Post 1265, which is at 160 South Broad Street. It’s an all you can eat pasta dinner that includes pasta with meat sauce, salad, bread, butter, a cookie and a beverage for $7, $4 for children under 12. You can also drop off old eyeglasses and hearing aids.
There’s a free car seat check today at the Children’s Workshop at 2 Franklin Street in Westerly. The nice people there will make sure your child is in the right seat and that it’s fastened correctly. They’ll be there from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
