North Stonington Crash Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured
A Rhode Island man died following a crash Monday afternoon.
NORTH STONINGTON, CT — A North Providence, RI man died in a wreck on Route 49 Monday afternoon, FOX 61 reported. The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. near the I-95 ramp.
Ryan Poland was driving northbound when his car collided with another vehicle traveling southbound. He was taken to Westerly Hospital where he was pronounced deceased due to his injuries.
A second driver was taken to Rhode Island Hospital after suffering serious injuries, according to FOX 61. The crash remains under investigation.
