Outdoor Instruments May Be Coming To Downtown Pawcatuck: Report

STONINGTON, CT — Large outdoor musical instruments resembling xylophones may be installed in the downtown Westerly-Pawcatuck area for people to play, the New London Day reported. The idea was proposed last week by the organizers of last year's Bricks and Murals project in both downtown areas.

According to the New London Day, plans for the Westerly-Pawcatuck Harmony Trail were presented to the Board of Selectmen, who requested the group discuss the idea with police, the town’s Beautification Committee and Director of Planning Jason Vincent before the selectmen voted on it.
