Phase II of the Mystic Streetscape Project Could Begin this Fall

Groton plans to bid Phase II of the Mystic Streetscape project this spring, Town Manager Mark Oefinger told Groton Representative Town Meeting last week.

The work is a sidewalk replacement project with curbing from the restrooms on Water Street to the The Captain Daniel Packer Inne Restaurant and Pub. Construction would start in the fall or early winter, Oefinger said.

“We’re certainly sensitive to not doing the bulk of this work during the summer,” he said.
