Plans For Pastry, Coffee Shop In Stonington Move Forward

A zoning application for a new pastry and coffee shop in Stonington has been approved.

STONINGTON, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission has approved a zoning permit for a pastry and coffee shop at 148 S. Broad St., The New London Day reported. The vacant building on Route 1 in Pawcatuck is across from Brookside Village and within a few hundred yards of three new apartment complexes.

GBD Realty of Taunton, MA filed an application with the town to open a 30-seat restaurant with a drive-thru window.
