Police Issue Warning After Cars Stolen In Stonington

Police are warning people to lock their cars after recent thefts.

STONINGTON, CT — Police are warning residents again after car thefts during the past week, according to The Day. Two unlocked vehicles were stolen in the Hewitt Road area when owners left the key fobs inside the vehicles Sunday night.

Last week an SUV was stolen from a Montauk Avenue home last week after the owner left the key fob. Police urged residents to lock their cars and keep key fobs in their homes, The Day reported.
