Popular Stonington Coffee Shop To Shut Its Doors
A longtime coffee shop will shut its doors but shift its business to selling beans online.
STONINGTON, CT — Green Marble Coffee will close its doors nearly 30 years in business. However, the shop will continue business in a different way, shipping coffee to customers.
"I want to thank you all so much for allowing me to share in your lives for all of these years," Green Marble Coffee wrote in a Facebook post. "Thank you all for the support and well wishes that you have all been sending. No one need worry, your Marble coffee will still be available. I would never stop feeding your addictions or mine!
"I’m in the process of building a website. In the meantime you can reach out to me here on Facebook or you can send an email to Greenmarbleman@comcast.net. I’m going to be shipping and I will still be delivering around town. Don’t forget there are places in Mystic that still service our coffee as well. Lis Bake Shop has our coffee and both Mystic Market East and Mystic Market West sell our coffee beans.Thank you all for your continued support.
