Recollections of Growing up in Ireland Virtual Event Wednesday

The Mystic Irish Parade Foundation will host a virtual conversation Wednesday including prominent local Irish immigrants.

MYSTIC, CT — The Mystic Irish Parade Foundation is spreading the word about a conversation among prominent local Irish immigrants being hosted virtually on St. Patrick’s Day by the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut.

The Facebook Live event on March 17 at 4 p.m. will feature Tony Sheridan, Paul Nugent, Leo Roche, and John O’Shaughnessy. The group will talk about their time growing up in Ireland, in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.

The Mystic Irish Parade Foundation, which unfortunately had to cancel this year’s parade because of COVID-19, is encouraging everyone to tune in for this fun conversation. After all, we’re all Irish on St. Patrick’s Day!

This festive celebration, as well as many other annual area events, are planned and supported by the Mystic Irish Parade Foundation. The Mystic Irish Parade Foundation is 100% volunteer-driven, supported by team members dedicated to

promoting Irish heritage and organizing a spectacular parade for the community. The MIPF is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible and directly help fund local charities, as well as the annual parade.
