MYSTIC, CT — A new silent film that was shot in Mystic and features some local talent was previewed at the Mystic & Noank Library on Friday night.

Directed by Groton resident Christopher Annino as part of Tag Team Friendship Productions LLC of Mystic, "Silent Times" had its world-preview Friday, May 25 at 6 p.m.

According to the library's website, the film is a loving homage to the silent films of the 1920's and 30's, and features a wide cast of characters based on archetypes and personalities common in those films, such as Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Gypsy Rose Lee.
