With St. Michael's Dedication Mass Saturday, Expect Traffic
After more than seven years, the bells will ring at St. Michael's Saturday morning for a dedication mass. Expect traffic and congestion.
PAWCATUCK, CT —After being closed for more than seven years for a massive rehabilitation and rebuild, a Mass of Dedication is set for Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church.
Stonington Police caution that church neighbors, Pawcatuck residents and motorists should expect "an increase in traffic and people looking for parking or walking to this event."
Police said that Route 2 will be closed from around 9:50 to 10:20 a.m.
