Stonington Basketball Team In Quarantine After Potential Exposure
The Stonington boys basketball team's first game has been postponed after a player began displaying COVID-19 symptoms.
STONINGTON, CT — Members of the Stonington boys basketball team are in quarantine after possible exposure to COVID-19 via a teammate who displayed symptoms, according to The Day. A school official wrote in a communication with parents that several members of the player's family had also tested positive and were exhibiting symptoms.
The Ledge Light Health District said the school should treat the player as a "presumed positive" due to the symptoms, The Day reported.
The team's first game was scheduled to be played against Waterford Feb. 12 has been postponed.
