Stonington Police Issue Alert On Car Break-Ins

Police are reminding residents to lock their cars after several were entered earlier this week.

STONINGTON, CT — Police said that they are investigating several complaints about vehicles being entered in the early morning hours Tuesday. Police issued an alert regarding the criminal activity.

"It appears that all of the vehicles recently entered were unlocked," Capt. Todd Olson wrote. "This alert has been sent to make residents aware of the incidents and to serve as a reminder to keep vehicles locked and to not leave valuables in plain view."
