Stonington Police Taking 'No Excuses' Approach to Enforcement
A seatbelt enforcement campaign will begin on May 23, 2016.
The Stonington Police Department will be partnering with other law enforcement agencies in both Connecticut and Rhode Island at 6 p.m. Monday, May 23, on the Connecticut/Rhode Island border, for a seatbelt enforcement campaign.
Agencies participating include the Stonington Police, CT State Police, Westerly Police and Rhode Island State Police.
The campaign kicks off the Click It Or Ticket seat belt enforcement period, running from May 23 to June 5.
“The Stonington Police Department will be taking a no-excuses approach to seat belt law enforcement, writing citations day and night,” police said.
