"At Stonington's Beginning" Talk Taking Place at Stonington Historical Society Meeting

The talk will be presented by Dr. Kevin McBride, head of the Mashantucket Pequot Museum's Research Department.

Dr. Kevin McBride will present “At Stonington’s Beginning: The English and Pequot Lives and Relations from 1649 to 1675.”

The talk will take place at 4 p.m. May 18, at the Richard W. Woolworth Library and Research Center, 40 Palmer St., Stonington.

McBride is the head of the Mashantucket Pequot Museum’s Research Department and oversees field study programs on the Mashantucket Pequot Reservation for graduate students and directs all ongoing archeological excavations and ethnohistorical research for the Tribal Nation.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Assumption College and his master’s and doctoral degrees in archeology from UConn.
