Velvet Mill Hosting Holiday Show and Open Studios

The Velvet Mill’s Holiday Show and Open Studios offer the opportunity to see the inner workings of more than 30 studios and businesses at 22 Bayview Ave., Stonington.

• Friday, Nov., 21, 6 to 9 p.m. — Gallery Opening
• Saturday, Nov. 22, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Open Studios

Explore the works of ceramic artists, creative art therapists, glass blowers, graphic designers, interior designers, jewelry makers, metal fabrication artists, painters, photographers, printmakers, restorers and conservationists, sculptors and weavers.

Also open will be the bakery, the Beer’d Brewing Company, the clothing boutiques, antique vendors, life coach, scanning business, reiki practitioner and numerous other new creative endeavors.

Come see the art, meet the artists, the crafts people and the entrepreneurs. Engage, ask questions, discuss process, express your opinions, and learn about the class offerings at the mill. Most of all enjoy the Mill’s places of creativity and support the local artist community. You might also find some wonderful unique holiday gifts!
