Visions for Vacancies: 210 S. Broad St., Pawcatuck
Two of the three businesses in this plaza are gone. What should move in to this location near the high school and Davis Standard?
Hurricane Sandy killed Guy's Gourmet, a little hole-in-the-wall breakfast and lunch place that local restaurateur Guy Gengarella had opened in March 2012. After being without power for a week after the storm in October, the place never reopened.
Coco's Salon, right next door in the same plaza at 210 S. Broad in Pawcatuck, has relocated to downtown Pawcatuck and is now doing business as Coco's Salon @ Studio A (9 W. Broad St.).
That leaves one tenant left in the building, the Handlebar Cafe.
