Water Main To Be Replaced In Stonington
A project to replace a water main in Stonington will start next week and is anticipated to cause minor traffic delays.

STONINGTON, CT — A water main replacement project is scheduled to begin Monday, March 8, at Dean’s Mill Road and Flanders Road and is expected to be completed by the end of June, according to a statement from Aquarion Water Company. The project will replace 7,690 feet of water main.
The infrastructure upgrades are intended to help reduce leaks and water main breaks that can cause service interruptions.
Drivers should expect minor traffic delays and possible detours during the working hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Burns Construction Company, a Stratford company, will be serving as the contractor for the water main replacement project. Final paving will then be scheduled in coordination with the Town of Stonington.
