Westerly Police Seeking Suspect in Bank Robbery

Westerly police are searching for a 30 to 40 year-old white male suspected of robbing the Washington Trust branch located in McQuade's Marketplace on Main Street in Westerly Tuesday morning. 

Police were notified around 10:45 Tuesday morning that the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money. 

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect, who is described as a white male who may be 30 to 40 years old, has dark hair, a beard or goatee, and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and a backpack.
