Astronomy Tonight!
The Kent Memorial Library in Suffield is presenting a community event for Suffield residents to stargaze together.

SUFFIELD, CT - From the Kent Memorial Library: The Kent Memorial Library is continuing to observe the stars, the moon, the satellites and planets. In July, the Astronomical Society of Great Hartford will be guiding us. They will start with a short presentation on the partical eclipse which will occur on August 21. By 9:00 p.m., we should be out observing the sky. Stuff to bring: flashlights with red filters – a few layers of red plastic wrap or tissue paper will work, binoculars, a pad or pillow to sit or lie on, tissues and your imagination. The Astronomy Club will have a telescope to share. Please register for this free program in person, by phone at (860) 668-3896 or on our website, suffield-library.org.
