Blizzard Warning Now Issued for Suffield
The National Weather Service has officially issued a blizzard warning for Hartford and Tolland counties.

Residents of Hartford and Tolland counties are officially on the lookout for blizzard conditions Tuesday, as the National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning extending from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The most up-to-date forecast from the NWS indicates a possibility of 16 to 22 inches of snow beginning just before dawn Tuesday morning, with snowfall at the rate of 2 to 4 inches per hour likely. High winds will also contribute to the white-out conditions, with gusts up to 50 mph.
The heavy snow will make many roads impassable and may produce widespread power outages due to the weight of the snow on tree limbs and power lines. Strong winds will lead to blowing snow, reduced visibility, and additional power outages, according to the NWS.
