Give Blood in January, Get Free Dunkin' Donuts

Red Cross blood donors in January will get a $5 Dunkin' Donuts gift card to be used at participating locations in the Suffield area.

The American Red Cross and Dunkin’ Donuts are partnering to help increase donations and reward donors who give blood and platelets during National Blood Donor Month during the month of January.

According to a news release, the “Dunkin’ Donors Make a Difference” campaign rewards those give blood or platelets in January at Red Cross blood drives in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and parts of New York by giving them a $5 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card.

“Donating blood or platelets helps to save lives, and with Dunkin’ Donuts’ support, we can help ensure donations keep pace with hospital patient needs during a month that can be challenging for blood donations,” said Colin Riccobon, external communications manager, Connecticut Blood Services Region. “By giving blood or platelets, generous volunteer donors can make a difference and help maintain a sufficient supply for patients in need.”
