Just One- this years National FFA theme and just one more day until several Suffield Agriscience students will be heading off to Indiana for the FFA National Convention! These students will be participating in leadership training, seeing Garth Brooks in concert, participating in community service events, attending a rodeo, and much more!

Each year National officers are selected and this year, Connecticut’s very own, Zach Duda, the State delegate for FFA, is being interviewed and waiting to hear if he is selected to the National FFA Officer team! Zach Duda and all delegates will know who is selected for the National Team on October 27 th during the convention. This is an exciting trip for all the students as they anxiously await the selection of the officers and hope their friend and Connecticut FFA President, Zach Duda , becomes a National FFA Officer!

Additional excitement for the Suffield Agriscience Students are former students of Suffield’s Agriscience program, Conor Smith, Jessica LaRosa, Lexi Ratti, and Ally Greene will all be receiving their American degree at the National Convention!

This is an exciting time for the students and a proud moment for the Agriscience director Laura LaFlamme and her staff at Suffield Regional High School! Thank you to all staff and parent chaperones for making this years National convention and Expo happen.
