Local Entrepreneur Keeps Cars Spotless

"I've been obsessed with making paint perfect for over 10 years" says Nick Rolocut owner of Northern CT Professional Detailing located in Windsor Locks. It's a brisk fall day - and per usual - Nick's in the shop restoring the shine to a weathered car. He continues "More importantly I've been a passionate car guy even longer than that. As years went by, my passion for automobiles turned into falling in love with a perfect, wet-looking paint finish." Rolocut, who is now 27; transformed his love of cars and paint perfection into a growing start-up.

What sets them apart from other car washes and detailers? According to Rolocut, what Northern CT Professional Detailing apart in part, is being on of northern Connecticut's only Certified Pearl Nano Certified installers. Rolocut says that while ceramic coatings have been around for a while, they're just now becoming the accepted standard in car detailing. Since officially launching in late 2017 - Rolocut estimates that they've provided at least 70 ceramic coatings to vehicles but adds that prior to the launch, he's been doing coatings like these for 5+ years.

And it's not just about cars - Northern CT Professional Detailing works on all types of vehicles. Nick adds that he's detailed everything from vintage Mustangs and luxurious Dodge Vipers all the way to boats and motorcycles and trailers. "Every surface is exposed to elements and therefor needs thorough cleaning and care" says Rolocut. "We've done wheel and metal ceramic coatings, fabric tops, on top of our interior car services. You name it, we've got you covered." Not too bad for a company who's goal is "Paint Perfection".
