Police Issue Warning After Multiple Vehicles Stolen In Suffield

Police said people need to lock their cars and remove the keys from them after numerous recent incidents of car thefts.

SUFFIELD, CT — Police are reminding residents to lock their cars and remove their keys following car thefts. Two vehicles were stolen from Hickory Street and one from River Boulevard this week.

Police said on Facebook they have received reports of attempts from other neighborhoods as well.

"This is the 7th vehicle stolen from town in 3 weeks, all vehicles were unlocked with keys inside," police wrote. "Please consider locking your cars to prevent becoming a victim."
