Stranger Tosses White Powder On A Suffield Student: UPDATE
The incident is under investigation Tuesday morning.

SUFFIELD, CT — Suffield Police say the incident at Suffield Middle School has been resolved. Suffield Emergency Services responded to the Middle School this morning. Staff reported that a student arrived at school with an unknown white powder that had been thrown on him by a stranger, police said.
Emergency services and Suffield Public Schools initiated safety protocols and began to investigate the incident. DEEP determined that the unknown powder was not hazardous (a cellulose powder) and the incident was resolved, police said.
"We would like to thank the Suffield Public Schools, the faculty, students, and staff for their cooperation in this matter," police said.
