Description: Children will have a fun afternoon expressing their creativity while making a variety of winter themed crafts, decoration projects and treats. This class is great for both girls and boys. Some of the crafts include: snowmen themed cards, art designs and craft bags. Please have your child bring or wear an old T-shirt/clothes to class. Speed Training Clinic (Grades 3-8)
Description: This clinic offers a great cross training workout for athletes! Participants will learn to perform a proper warm-up before exercise, focus on the best practices of acceleration and change of direction, cool down of static stretches and core exercises. This clinic will help both boys and girls that participate in any sport, looking to enhance coordination, running technique, body weight strength, first step quickness, flexibility, injury prevention, weight loss, and most importantly a better sense of self confidence.

Introduction To Horseback Riding For Children

Description: Children explore famous inventors such as Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Edison, Archimedes, Ben Franklin and even Rube Goldberg, along with the contributions they made to science, engineering and society. Guided by our Mad Scientists, children use their knowledge and creativity to overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and the most important of all – their minds! Each child will also bring home a cool science take-away every week! While Thomas Edison said “invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration” this program is 100% FUN!!

More Art Ventures in the Rainforest - Let’s Gogh Art
Description: All New Projects! For new or continuing artists, Art adventurers head off on a rainforest safari, discovering rare and wondrous creatures that call it home. Journey into the world of parrots, jungle cats, snakes, red-eyed tree frogs and more! Experiment with whimsical and original art forms and techniques. Design stained glass tigers, build rockin’ rain sticks and paint ceramic turtle banks. Sculpt froggy light switch covers and coiled snake pots. Even create
a rainforest masterpiece on stretched canvas! Throughout the voyage art adventurers learn about the importance of saving the rainforest and pick up super artist survival skills like painting, drawing, sculpting, canvas transfer and more. Surprises and laughter round out this fun-filled art safari! Adventurers return home with awesome works of art each week.

Kids Fitness Challenge (Grades 3-8)
This clinic is designed to accommodate boys and girls in grades 3-8 and fitness levels and will engage each individual in core training, strength and agility training, plyometrics and other training exercises. Goop, Gak, Slime and More! NEW!
Squish, splosh, smash, squelch, splash, slime, drop, smear, spray, and ooze are some of the thing we will do/hear during this fun hands on program! Children are doing many things at once when engaged in messy play. They can be observing, creating, building, exploring, imagining, discovering, investigating, interpreting, even relaxing. What child doesn’t want to get slimed or at least play with it! Each day we will ‘create’ something new, from Goop, Gak or Slime!
*Note: projects will be messy, parents should send their child with a cover up to wear.

Babysitter Safety 101
Description: This is an entry level course intended to teach age appropriate skills necessary to care for children of all ages using team babysitting, mother’s helper and individual babysitting concepts. The course focuses on safety with emphasis on prevention. Basic first aid and obstructed airway management for a conscious choking adult/child and infant will be covered. Other topics include hand washing, diapering, bottle feeding, personal safety, interview skills and many more topics. Course is 4 hours, bring a snack. Booklet, handouts and Babysitter Safety Certificate of completion included.

Gymnastics
Flip into spring this year with the exciting gymnastics program. This introductory program will teach boys and girls the basic skills of gymnastics. We will focus on coordination, flexibility and safety. Participants will learn basic skills to develop a good foundation in gymnastics including: Floor Exercise, balance beam, bars, rings and vault. For comfort and safety, girls should wear leotards and boys should wear shorts and a t-shirt that can be tucked in. Buckles, snaps or zippers are not allowed.

Children will have an enjoyable afternoon expressing their creativity while dying and decorating real Easter Eggs and finding candy filled eggs! This will be an action packed class as we will dye eggs, decorate Easter baskets and edible treats. If the weather is good outside, we will go on an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt otherwise the egg hunt will be inside! Please have your child bring or wear an old T-shirt/clothes, winter coat and boots to class. A snack will be provided.
