Strong Winds Wreak Havoc In Suffield Monday

SUFFIELD,CT — Emergency crews in Suffield responded to 14 different locations across town for downed wires and/or downed trees due to high wind conditions from Monday morning into the middle part of ther afternoon, police said.

South Grand Street was closed in the early afternoon at Sheldon Street due to a tree falling, police said.

This area was expected to remain closed for several hours, police said.
