There will be an open mic before the reading, so bring your poems to share. The free program is a collaboration of the Academy and the Kent Memorial Library. Please register at the Kent Memorial Library, at 860-668-3896, or online at suffield-library.org.

Daughter, Daedalus is a siren song composed of loss and beauty. The poems are letters to the mythical inventor Daedalus and her daughter. Moncrief Bromage uses detailed themes of mothering and barrenness so wonderfully interwoven that readers will feel the pain.
