Suffield Election Results 2018: Winners Declared
Residents elected a new governor and also cast their ballots on key local and state races and a U.S. Senate seat.

SUFFIELD, CT — Voters turned out in droves despite the skies producing a considerable amount of rain Tuesday, as residents cast their ballots for several significant state and national offices.
Activity was brisk at Suffield Middle School, with parking spaces at a premium for the majority of the day.
As of 1:15 a.m., official results from Suffield had not yet been released by the Secretary of the State's office. However, a few races that included multiple towns were reported.

In the 7th Senatorial District, incumbent Republican John Kissel defeated Democratic challenger Annie Hornish; with 12 of 14 precincts reporting, Kissel had 15,403 votes to 13,865 for Hornish. With two of three precincts reporting in the state House of Representatives District 61 race, incumbent Republican Tami Zawistowski led Democratic challenger Jack Henrie, 2,217 votes to 1,669.
Incumbent Democratic judge of probate David A. Baram ran unopposed.
