Suffield Home Destroyed In Fire

A Suffield home perished in a Tuesday night blaze.

SUFFIELD, CT — A Phelps Road home was destroyed in a fire Tuesday evening, but no one was hurt, according to the Journal-Inquirer. The home's resident wasn't there at the time of the fire.

Emergency crews received the call about an older farmhouse on fire at 5:20 p.m. By the time they arrived at the scene, 75 percent of the building was on fire, The Journal-Inquirer reported.
