Suffield Obituary: Linda Bender, 55

Linda M. Bender, 55, of West Suffield, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018. Beloved daughter of Joseph and Beverly (Forbes) Jopeck of Windsor, Linda was raised in Windsor, graduating from Windsor High School in 1981.

She graduated from the Creative School of Hairdressing and later opened her own salon, Illusions Hair & Nails, in Jacksonville, FL. Besides being creative and artistic, Linda also loved music. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially cats.

Besides her parents, Linda is survived by her sisters, Theresa Maurer (Donald) of Simpsonville, SC, Monica Koronkowksi (Charles) of Sandy, UT; brother, Edward Jopeck (Valerie) of Vienna, VA; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Linda’s family will receive friends on Friday, December 21st beginning at 9:00 AM at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Gabriel Church, 379 Broad Street, Windsor, followed by burial at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
