Suffield Police Thank Drug Take Back Day Participants​

By the end of the event, 53 pounds of prescriptions were collected, which will be properly disposed of by the DEA.

From Suffield Police: The Suffield Police Department and CVS Pharmacy of Suffield want to extend a very heartfelt thank you to all those who came out on April 29, 2017 to turn in unwanted and unused medications.

Suffield Police Officer Terry Antrum ("Officer Terry" as he is known around town) remained busy collecting medications during his time outside CVS. By 2:00 p.m., Officer Antrum had collected over fifty-three (53) pounds of prescriptions which were in turn surrendered to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) at day's end. These medications will be properly disposed of by the DEA.

Chief Richard Brown and his leadership team Want to recognize Officer Antrum's efforts on this date as well as the efforts of Suffield Police Officer M. Sargent who Coordinates the department's annual participation in this national program.
