Suffield Sits Near Top of Initial Girls Soccer Poll

The Wildcats opened the new season with three consecutive shutout victories, outscoring opponents by a 19-0 margin.

SUFFIELD, CT — Coming off a Class LL girls soccer state championship last season, the Ridgefield Tigers are out to retain that position by posting shutout victories in their first four games this season.

Ridgefield was the unanimous choice of coaches as the top team in Classes LL/L. Staples was second in the first week of voting, followed by Suffield.

Granby Memorial High School was the leading votegetter among Classes M and S schools.
