The folks at NORAD are gearing up to chart Mr. Claus' Christmas Eve journey across the globe.

Suffield area families wondering just what time Santa Claus will make his appearance locally can track the jolly old elf’s journey courtesy of NORAD.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command is once again putting its technological prowess to use helping children around the world keep up with Santa’s Christmas Eve ride. The NORAD Santa Tracker website is up and running with a countdown clock ticking away.
NORAD and its predecessor, the Continental Air Defense Command, have been tracking Santa’s movements since 1955, the agency’s website says. That website also offers a number of activities, including games, movies, music and the “Secret Santa Files” to keep kids busy on Christmas Eve.
