West Suffield’s Alberdi Named Administrator at Manchester Manor

Appointment Made Following Successful Completion of State and Federal Nursing Home Administrator Licensure Examinations

Dalia Alberdi of West Suffield has been officially appointed administrator of Manchester Manor Health Care Center, following her recent successful completion of the state and federal Nursing Home Administrator licensure requirements and examinations.

“We are thrilled to have Dalia Alberdi as our administrator at Manchester Manor Health Care Center,” said Paul Liistro, CEO of Manchester Manor. “Dalia is a personable and empathetic individual who understands the needs of patients, staff and families. She will be influential and have a positive impact on our community.”

A native of Brooklyn, Alberdi has been a member of the Manchester Manor team since 2016, when she assumed the role of director of marketing and admissions for both Manchester Manor and the adjacent Arbors of Hop Brook retirement community. In April of 2020, she was appointed assistant administrator.

Alberdi holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Endicott College, and a graduate certificate in long-term health care management from the University of Connecticut.

The State of Connecticut’s Department of Public Health’s Nursing Home Administrator licensure process is a rigorous program of education and training, including 900 hours of residency or field placement. Eligible candidates must successfully pass the Connecticut Jurisprudence and Public Health Code examination, followed by a federal Nursing Home Administrator license examination administered by the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards.
