1 Injured After Fall At State Park In East Haddam: Report

EAST HADDAM, CT — State Environmental Police said one person was injured Wednesday after falling during a hike at Gillette Castle State Park in East Haddam, NBC Connecticut reported. The injuries are not life-threatening, police said.

According to NBC Connecticut, police said a woman injured her leg while hiking with another woman at the park when they went off a trail and slipped. She was taken to Hartford Hospital by an ambulance while the second woman was treated and released at the scene, police said.
