Block Party in Moodus to Celebrate Local Businesses

Old Lumberyard Plaza invites the public to a block party to celebrate local businesses. The party will feature free samples, raffle prizes and free demos/services.

On Saturday, September 14, Old Lumberyard Plaza, located at 25 Falls Road, Moodus, is inviting the public to a Block Party celebration of local businesses. The event will feature free samples, food and drink, raffle prizes and free demos/services, and will be held from 2-4 PM. 

Owners Cookie Gowac, of New Image Day Spa, and Melanie Mandile, the new owner of Bei Capelli Salon, which was formerly New Image Salon, will announce their grand openings.

Other local businesses that plan to join in the celebration include Bagels Plus, Banner Total Fitness, Gristmill Market, MP Impressions, Nails by Tammie, Radiant Glow Spray Tanning and Two Wrasslin’ Cats Coffee House & Café.
