Celebrate Earth Day with Killingworth
Join the Killingworth Library on April 28th for a day of fun at Chatfield Hollow Inn and Farm

This year, keep the Earth Day celebrations going all week long by joining the Killingworth Library and the Killingworth Women’s Organization on April 28th for the second annual Earth Day Celebration and Library Fundraiser at Chatfield Hollow Inn and Farm!
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., picturesque Chatfield Hollow Inn and Farm will transform into a lively, celebratory haven for all things earth-minded. Come and enjoy live music from singer-songwriter KJ along with a full day of seminars and demonstrations on beekeeping, maple sugaring, tai chi, growing mushrooms, bushwhacking, wetlands, composting, recycling, and foraging. There will also be an on-site nature-themed book sale, relaxing Zentangle drawing, a s’mores pit for the kids, face painting, and a special visit from Meigs Point Nature Center as well as Cedar Island Marina’s Traveling Touch Tank.
Tickets are $10 per person—children 5 and under are free—which includes a free slice of pizza and a beverage. For more information or to buy advance tickets, visit the Killingworth Library (301 Route 81). Tickets will also be available for sale at the event. All proceeds benefit the Killingworth Library.
