Championship Saturday Preview: Haddam-Killingworth and Hale Ray

Saturday is state championship day in Connecticut, as 30 teams from 27 schools compete for 15 titles at six different venues in boys and girls soccer, girls volleyball and field hockey.

Three schools (Farmington, Old Saybrook and Ridgefield) have two teams playing in title tilts.

In addition, dozens of teams and individuals will compete in the State Open girls swimming championships at Yale University, beginning at noon. Click here for complete information.
