Come Support Your Local Alzheimer's Association

Chestelm Adult Day Services and Chestelm will be walking to support the cause under 'Peacock Pride'

Chestelm Adult Day Services and Chestelm will be walking to support our local Ct. Chapter of Alzheimer's Association on September 15 at Ocean Beach Park in New London. Registration is 9 AM, ceremony is at 10 AM and the walk begins at 10:30 AM. Everyone is welcome to come and walk with us or you can donate to the cause. Just go to alz.org and sign up to walk with us under 'Peacock Pride' or donate online.
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease!
When you participate in Walk, your fundraising dollars fuel our mission, and your participation in the event helps to change the level of Alzheimer’s awareness in your community. The Alzheimer’s Association provides free, easy-to-use tools and staff support to help participants reach their fundraising goal. While there is no fee to register, we encourage participants to fundraise in order to contribute to the cause and raise awareness. Join us and lead the way to Alzheimer's first survivor. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease!
If you have any questions you can call Liz, the captain of 'Peacock Pride' at (860)873-3833. We hope to see you there!
